‘63         Enrique Antonio Fernandez Navarrete is born in San Salvador, El Salvador.

‘68         His family moves to Southern California.

​‘82-‘87   Attends USC School of Architecture as Trustee Scholar (highest honors at entrance.)

              Chosen to attend USC Architecture Summer Program in Rome (1986).

              Earns Bachelor of Architecture degree from USC School of Architecture (1988).

’87-‘89   Works in Fine Art Sales at Galerie Michael (Century City) and as Draftsman at  Barasch Architects (Pasadena).

’89-‘92   Works as Interior Designer at Barbara Barry, Inc. (Los Angeles).

‘92-‘96   Works as Showroom Display Stylist and Buyer at City Antiques (Los Angeles).

‘97-‘03   Works as co-founder and Vice-President of Design at City Studio (fine furniture.)

              Receives the AIA/LA’s Next LA Award for Furniture Design for The Modernist Collection by City Studio (1997).

              The Modernist Collection is added to the USC Alumni Permanent Collection (1998)

‘97-‘11   Establishes AnthonyFernandezDesign, focusing on interiors and architectural remodeling of Mid-Century Modern homes, with projects in    

              Downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Laguna Beach, New York City and Southern France.  

’11-‘15   Works as Design Consultant for clients in Laguna Beach and Palm Springs.

‘16         Moves to Fresno and conceives "Parabolic," a new venture combining his love of art and design with a desire to promote a vibrant Fresno arts culture.
